Net Zero needs nuclear energy

COP28 produced a Ministerial Declaration and an Industry Pledge, both of which support the goal of a tripling of nuclear capacity by 2050. The Road to COP30 is about building on our collective success to realise an even more ambitious Net Zero Nuclear mission. 

Scaling nuclear energy up to deliver the increasing demand for clean, reliable electricity requires energy leaders, financing houses and communities to mobilize quickly and efficiently. We have no time to lose.

We have a unique and limited window of opportunity to show how, with nuclear energy, we already have in our hands today what we need to deliver for tomorrow.

Calling on all advocates and leaders across the energy sector and industry to unite in achieving this goal.
